new bikes + park day

We spent most of Ian's birthday bike shopping and going on a bike ride to the park. My parents were in town and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Fall in Arizona is lovely. I'm not sure who is more thrilled about the new bikes, the boys or their father. I'm sure he is counting down the days until they can go on real rides with him. On the way home from church today, we were talking about the new bikes and Max said, "yeah, now all I need is a bike outfit". No doubt referring to his father's spandex cycling ensembles. J-P and I couldn't stop laughing.
