A nice week in AZ.

Well, we had our first family visit this week, when Mary Ann's Mom
came into town for a couple of days. It was great to finally be able
to show her our new house. Our only trouble was trying to get her to
relax and treat it like a vacation. She was non-stop work as she
organized the kitchen, the spare bedroom, trimmed our bougainvilla in
the back yard, and so much more.

She also brought along several house warming presents that really
warmed the place up. I've taken pictures of several them and added
them below.

Anyway, we love you all and can't wait to welcome you all to our
little house in the desert.

The new mirror in the entry, again thanks to MA's Mom. She gave us some wonderful house warming gifts, but most of all she worked long and hard to help get our house organized. It's great to be able to find things in the kitchen now. j  Posted by Picasa
More new plants for on top of the bookshelf. We just need to find 2 more like them.  Posted by Picasa
Jackie (MA's Mom) was in town for a few days and worked really hard to help us get our place into better shape. We have new flowers like this all along the entry. Amazingly, they survive in the heat... Posted by Picasa
MA's new succulents. She's very excited about these.  Posted by Picasa
New plate and Lily of the Valley on top of the hutch.  Posted by Picasa
There you have all the plates hung and the tea set adjusted just right...  Posted by Picasa
Our new Bromelia. MA picked a great pot and we just hope to keep it alive.  Posted by Picasa
