Here are the bogainvillas trimmed. You can't really see them. I'll get a better shot for you later. But you can also see the neighbors open garage across the street.

This is the new chandelier that took me forever to hang yesterday. The longest part was the painting since we wanted an antique black rather than the gold/silver it came in.  

The news in Arizona

Well...

Since our last update we've gone to Goldfield Ghost town while hosting a couple of friends for the weekend.  Those pictures you can find on Flickr. 

Other than that we have a cactus down.  It's a pretty big cactus and for some reason it toppled over.  I've attached a couple of pictures so you can see how small the root system was. 

These pictures come from a series that wouldn't stitch together for me. This is the top, middle and bottom portions.

We haven't decided what to do with it. Either chop it up and toss it, or try and reset it. Since it is such a large cactus we've thought it would be nice to save it. Then again it may be nice to have a tree here. Hmmm.

Any ideas?

Adventures in Canada

Looks like everyone had a fabulous time up in the great white north!
We loved the pictures of everyone and are glad travel was safe.

I don't know who is looking at our blog, but wanted to see who was
planning to come to our house for Thanksgiving. We are thinking of
what we'd like to do for adventures while in AZ. We've heard about a
couple of nice Pueblo style ruins down here and thought maybe they'd
be fun to check out. The weather should be comfortable and we'll
probably be able to swim and stuff.

So send me an email and let me know the details on who's coming so we
can start to plan for you all.

Spencer you look pretty scruffy with the goatee. I know I'm not one
to talk, as I shave rarely, but you may want to shave before the big
interviews come your way. :)

Anyway, you were all looking fabulous in the pictures. Alex and
Shaelea are growing very fast, can't wait to see you all again.
